Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital (SRRSH), affiliated with the Zhejiang University School of Medicine , was established in 1994 through the generous donation of Sir Run Run Shaw, a well-known Hong Kong businessman and philanthropist, as well as matching funds from the Zhejiang government.SRRSH is also a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network. Over the last 24 years of comprehensive scientific development, SRRSH has been developed into a tertiary, research-oriented general hospital with 1,200 beds, 310,866 square meters, 29 clinical specialties, 9 ancillary departments, 33 inpatient nursing units and other OR, OPD, ER nursing units, etc. SRRSH is also entrusted by Hangzhou Municipal Government to manage the Qiantang Hospital which has1,200 beds.
