On May 9th, 2019, the Spring Advisory Board Meeting of  Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital (SRRSH) was successfully held in the conference room of No.4 Building of Qingchun Campus, convening representatives from Zhejiang University, Loma Linda University Health (LLUH) and Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital.

The conference was chaired by Mr. Kerry Heinrich, Chief Executive Officer of Loma Linda University Medical Center. Dr. Huang He, Party Secretary & Vice President of Zhejiang University School of Medicine, also participated in the conference. First of all, board members listened to the 2018 SRRSH report delivered by  President Cai Xiujun, which highly reckoned the accomplishments achieved in 2018. Meanwhile, President Cai described his deep feelings towards the 25^th anniversary of SRRSH as well as the retirement of the two directors (Jan Zumwalt and Jerry Daly), and expressed sincere gratitude to them for their endeavors and contribution to SRRSH.

Then, Kerry Heinrich presented the latest progress of LLUH’s new building construction. Mo O’Reilly, incumbent director of Loma Linda University Global Health Institute, summarized the mutual visitors in the first half of 2019, and reported the down to date progress in establishing International Center for Health Sciences with Zhejiang University City College.

Seeking for closer and deeper collaboration and cooperation in the coming future, LLUH will continuously support the construction and development of SRRSH (the third clinical hospital affiliated with Zhejiang University), while SRRSH will continue to contribute to the establishment of International Center for Health Sciences.
