In September 2023, the application for Zhejiang Provincial Key Laboratory began. 7 laboratories from Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital (SRRSH), affiliated with Zhejiang University School of Medicine, were recognized as the Provincial Key Laboratories, according to the first and second batch of results released in February and July 2024, respectively.

Provincial Key Laboratory of Minimally Invasive and Precision Diagnosis and Treatment Technology

Provincial Key Laboratory of Biotherapy

Clinical-problem oriented, the laboratory views basic research as its cornerstone, and tackles the problems of insufficient markers, severe drug resistance, and the scarcity of new treatment strategies in biotherapy, pressing on with the clinical application and development of biotherapy in Zhejiang province.

Provincial Key Laboratory of Precision Diagnosis and Treatment of Abdominal Infection

Guided by the clinical needs of abdominal infection, the laboratory takes the approach of "pathogenesis - precise early warning - minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment - drug research and development". Centered around innovative and smart medical technology, it builds a first-class scientific research platform and creates a base for original research, technological innovation, personnel training, and academic exchange of abdominal infection, thus offering "Zhejiang Proposals" for the nationwide diagnosis and treatment of abdominal infection.

Provincial Key Laboratory of Fertility Precision Protection and Promotion

In the face of the major strategic needs of China's population security and people's reproductive health, the laboratory gives full play to the advantages of multiple disciplines, makes use of new technologies such as Multi-Omics and AI, and supports the development of Healthy China by "expounding the molecular mechanism centered around the decline of fertility and promoting clinical translation".

Provincial Key Laboratory of Cardiovascular Intervention and Accurate Diagnosis and Treatment Guided by clinical key issues and national strategic needs, the laboratory closely integrates the advantages of crossover study straddling medicine and engineering in the province, strives to seek breakthroughs in the pathogenesis and diagnosis and treatment technologies of coronary heart disease, heart failure, and hereditary heart disease, and turns itself into a leading domestic and world-class basic and translation research center for cardiovascular diseases.

Provincial Key Laboratory of Mechanism Research and Precision Repair of Orthopedic Trauma and Aging-related Diseases

Committed to expanding the cognitive boundary of the mechanism of orthopedic trauma and aging-related diseases, the laboratory focuses on the original research field and develops the precision repair treatment strategy with subversive innovation.

Provincial Key Laboratory for Multi-omics Precision Diagnosis and Treatment of Liver Diseases

Multi-omics integration analysis is used to monitor chronic liver diseases accurately, and key issues of high-risk assessment, molecular classification, and precision diagnosis and treatment of liver cancer and nonalcoholic fatty liver diseases are solved.
