Biographical Sketch
Zhou Wei, M.D. & Ph.D., Assistant Director of Endoscopy Center，Associate Professor and Associate Chief Physician of Department of Colon and Rectal Surgery. Dr. Zhou specializes in Robotic and laparoscopic colorectal surgery, especially those for colorectal cancer. After obtaining his M.D. in Clinical Medicine, M.S. in Oncology, and Ph.D. in Oncology at Medical School of Zhejiang University in 2005, 2007, and 2011 respectively, Dr. Zhou completed his Fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery in 2019 and became attending of colorectal surgery. From 2015-2017, he worked as Postdoc Fellow and Assistant Research Professor at the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Medicine, George Washington University (GWU). He has published over 20 influential articles in the field of biomedical sciences and cancer biology.
