Biographical Sketch
Xu Peifeng, Deputy Director of the Department of Respiratory Therapy.
Dr. Xu specializes in mechanical ventilation for critically ill patients, difficult weaning, home non-invasive ventilation titration and treatment, diaphragmatic function assessment and training. In 2014, he was an international visiting scholar at the Respiratory Care Center of Loma Linda University, USA. In 2015, he visited the University of Virginia Medical Center. In 2019, Vrije University Medical Center, Amsterdam, Netherlands. He has participated in two national key studies and development projects. In addition, he has presided over and participated in 4 provincial research projects, edited (translated) 10 books in total (among which 5 were edited with him being an associate editor) published 20 papers and gained 2 patents.
