Biographical Sketch
Cao Liping, M.D. & Ph.D., Deputy Director and Senior Attending of General Surgery. Director of Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery. Dr. Cao specializes in pancreatic adenocarcinoma, biliary and periampullary carcinoma, hilar cholangiocarcinoma, and complex biliary tract disease. After graduating from Medical University of Luebeck, he has developed and established the technique of laparoscopic surgery, providing a regional resource for treatment of complex pancreatic tumors and carcinoma of stomach which fail to operate. He also has completed a great number of cases of complex biliary tract disease with minimally invasive surgery.
