Biographical Sketch
Chen Gang, M.D., Doctoral Supervisor, Director of the Anesthesiology Department. Prof. Chen has been engaged in clinical anesthesia for more than 20 years with rich clinical experience. He has presided over 3 general programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and has published more than 20 papers in international journals. He specializes in perioperative anesthesia management of critical and difficult surgeries, such as liver transplantation, coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) combined with valve replacement surgery for elderly patients, etc. In addition, Prof. Chen was a visiting scholar at the Department of Anesthesiology of Kiel Medical University Germany where he got intensive clinical training.
