Biographical Sketch
Xie Junran, M.D., Chief Physician of the Anesthesiology Department. Dr. Xie has been engaged in clinical anesthesia for nearly 30 years with rich clinical experience. He has published many papers with a focus on acute lung injury and ARDS. Moreover, he was a visiting scholar at the Affiliated Orthopaedic Hospital of Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany where he got training for ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve block and at the Asian Heart Institute and Research Centre in India where he received intensive clinical training for cardiac anesthesia.
