Biographical Sketch
Chen Shujie, Ph.D., Master’s Supervisor, Associate Chief Physician of the Gastroenterology Department. Dr. Chen specializes in the clinical diagnosis and intervention of gastrointestinal cancers and functional gastrointestinal disorders, especially the surveillance of gastric precancerosis. Dr. Chen was trained under Prof. Si Jianmin and went to Massachusetts General Hospital in 2010 and the University of Michigan Medical School in 2016 as a visiting scholar. She has also put great efforts into the clinical and basic research about the relationship among gastrointestinal microbiota, nutrition, hormones, gastrointestinal cancers and inflammatory-related diseases. She has held nearly 10 national and provincial medical research projects, earned provincial awards three times, and published more than 50 articles about gastroenterology in domestic and international medical journals.
