Biographical Sketch
Xu Fawei, M.D., Associate Chief Physician, Attending of the Plastic Surgery Department. Dr. Xu specializes in mammoplastic surgery and body contouring surgery, especially vertical reduction mammoplasty and endoscopic augmentation mammoplasty. After finishing surgical training under Prof. Luan Jie, the chairman of the Chinese Medical Association Plastic Surgery Committee, Dr. Xu puts his efforts into modifying the vertical scar reduction mammoplasty technique, especially for Asian women, who are genetically susceptible to hyperplastic scars with the expectation of smaller breast size than those of other races.
