Biographical Sketch
Han Weidong, M.D., Doctoral Supervisor, Vice Director and Chief Physician of the Medical Oncology Department, Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital.
Dr. Han specializes in the chemotherapy, targeted therapy and immunotherapy of common and uncommon solid tumors, including lung cancer, esophageal cancer, gastric cancer, colon-rectal cancer, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer and cancers of unknown primary, etc.
Dr. Han served as the vice director and attending physician of the Medical Oncology Department, Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital. From April 2011 to October 2012, he completed his postdoctoral training at City of Hope National Medical Center, Los Angeles, USA. His current research focuses on the molecular mechanism of tumorigenesis and the development of gastroenterology, molecular mechanism and countermeasure of cancer drug resistance. Dr. Han has published more than 110 research articles with more than 2000 citations.
