The Department of Neurology offers comprehensive consultation, diagnosis, and treatment services for patients with disorders of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and muscles. Equipped with advanced neuroelectrophysiologyand neuropathology diagnostic system, the neurology department provides sub-specialized clinics for botulinum toxin injection, headache, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, dementia, somnipathy, neuroimmune disease and central nervous system infection.

The Primary Stroke Center was set up and passed JCI Accreditation in 2011, which is the first JCI accredited primary stroke center in China.Additionally, in 2015, Our Stroke Centerwas certified asthe first Comprehensive Stroke Center in China.We have also established the largestBotulinum Toxin Treatment Center in East China, witha high academic reputation.

The Parkinson's Disease Treatment Center utilizes deep brain stimulation and other worldwide advanced treatmenttechniques, providing comprehensive and persistent treatment for patients of Parkinson's Disease.

Our Spontaneous Intracranial HypotensionCenter improved the MR myelography detection technology and developed targeted epidural blood patch therapy, reaching the top level in the whole nation.

The Sleep Disorders Centerwas set up,and greatly improved the quality of life, of a large number of patients.We also have skill in peripheral nerve and muscle biopsy, cerebrospinal fluid cytology, the re-positioning maneuver for benign paroxysmal positional vertigo and comprehensive treatment of epilepsy.
