Overview

The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) of SRRSH, founded in 1993, integrates clinical services, teaching and research. We are the first physical medicine and rehabilitation department in the Zhejiang Province to implement early rehabilitation after total hip or knee replacement surgery. The department has actively worked with other relevant departments to expand the scope of clinical services, and develop from mere orthopedic rehabilitation to comprehensive rehabilitation. We currently focus on neurorehabilitation, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, pelvic floor rehabilitation, intensive care rehabilitation and geriatric rehabilitation.
